Description
The Nia Bag is more than an accessory. it’s a story of heritage, skill, and purpose. Nia, a Swahili word meaning “purpose,” reflects the spirit behind this design.
Handwoven from sisal, a natural plant fibre known for its durability, by women artisans in Kenya, each bag is a testament to generations of weaving tradition. The sisal is carefully harvested, stripped, and dried before being woven into a strong yet lightweight texture. Finished with dyed cow leather accents and an adjustable strap, the Nia Bag blends traditional African craftsmanship with modern functionality.
